The start date of your current subscription cycle is the date of your last payment.
For a yearly subscription, you may submit your samples within 365 days of your last payment date and gain access to your portal for 395 days from that date. Your current subscription cycle refers to the 395 days from that date. You will be automatically charged every 365 days, and you can cancel the next auto-renewal through our portal.
For a monthly subscription, you may submit your sample(s) within 30 days of your last payment date and gain access to your portal for 60 days from that date. Your current subscription cycle refers to the 60 days from that date. You will be automatically charged every 30 days, and you can cancel the next auto-renewal through our portal.
Whether you have a yearly or monthly subscription, the current cycle may be extended due to a failure of sample delivery or isotopic analysis (see below).
We offer a full refund of your subscription charge if you do not send us your samples and submit a refund request form in our portal within 30 days of your subscription payment.
We offer a partial refund on your subscription charge if you purchased a yearly plan and submitted your samples fewer than nine times during your current subscription cycle. You must fill out a refund request form in our portal before your current subscription ends. The total amount deducted for the partial refund is calculated by multiplying the standard price per analysis by the number of monthly analyses. The standard price per analysis is $65 for the Balanced plan and $75 for the Mom & Baby plan.
Your sample cannot be delivered to us, regardless of the carrier. We will contact you to request the resubmission of your sample as soon as possible if you wish to receive this month’s data. We recommend using our USPS BRM label/envelope available in the portal for your resubmission. Alternatively, you may choose to skip this month. Whether you resubmit this month’s sample(s) or skip them, your subscription cycle will be extended by 30 days each time there is a failure.
We may be unable to obtain isotopic data from your sample if it lacks sufficient carbon or nitrogen for detection by isotope mass spectrometry (IRMS) or if the IRMS encounters a technical issue. A failed analysis will not be considered a charged analysis if you request a refund. We will contact you to request the resubmission of your sample as soon as possible if you wish to receive the month’s data. We will ask for double the amount of your samples if your failed sample lacked enough carbon or nitrogen. You can also choose to skip the month. Regardless of whether you resubmit this month’s sample(s) or opt to skip, your subscription cycle will be extended by 30 days each time the isotopic analysis fails.
